INTRODUCTION

Established in 1993, Mutiara Hexagon begun its life as a humble flexible packaging manufacturer. With just a single rotogravure printing press,a dry lamination machine, and a slitter machine,we provide our customer with high quality packaging materials. Even with our small beginning, we never felt we were too small and we strived to meet our customers expectation of high quality products.Our efforts were not fruitless as time gone by we managed install additional machine in order to expand the range of products we can provide to our customers. The installations of extrusion lamination machine,solvent free lamination machine,blow film,and CPP machine were impossible if we did not maintain our customers expectation.

Now, Mutiara Hexagon Flexible Packaging Industry has grown to be one of the biggest flexible packaging industries in indonesia. Being one of the biggest is nothing if we do not maintain the same amount of satisfaction we always give to our customers  since our humble beginning. Whenever possible,we want ro improve ourselves and standards so that we can give greater amount of satification to our customers as we install machines that are higer in techonolgy and standards.

TECHNOLOGY

In order to obtain high quality printing results, our printing presses rely on the latest printing technology to print up to 9 colours using Sectional Drive System ( SDS ). This enables our printing presses to produce significanly less waste and better register performance compared to other printing presses that still rely on shaft drive system.

With high register contor accuracy, our printing presser can achive high productivity that can help you, as our valued customer, to create packaging according to the quality and qualities you desired.

EXTRUSION

Another methode of combining layers of plastic films together is by using extrusion coating technology. With two extruders on our machine, we can produce special formula for your needs. An advantage of using extrusion coating technology is the absence but with acceptable barrier propertiea for certain application.

DRY LAMINATION

Flavour and aroma retsntion of edible products is very important and packaging requires materials that have low air permeability to prevent the flavour and aroma from leaving the package. That is why high barrier properties for packaging are very desirable in the food industry. To obtain high barrier properties in our packaging, we have to combine two or more layers of film with different properties to obtain the final properties required. This process is done in our dry lamination machine. Our dry lamination units are able to combine several layers of films either by using the traditional solvent based adhesive or the newer and toxic free water based adhesive.

SLITTING

The quality of our process is under constant supervision. We only provide the best for our customer. Therefore we always do inspection on our products before continuing to finishing department.

Our finishing department rely on japanese technology in slitting machine. Equipped with stroboscope lights on each unit, it minimizes any non conformance goods that got delivered to our customer. These machines also have high accuracy in tension control so that finish good produced will look smooth.

SOLVENT FREE LAMINATION

As in our dry lamination machine, our solvent free lamination machine also serve the same purpose but use a different kind of adhesive that does not contain any trace of solvent which is toxic. This machine can run on high speed so we do not have to worry about missing our delivery deadline.

FILM DIVISION

This is where we manufacture CPP film either plain or metalized and blown LLDPE film for our own consumption as well as other industries that require this type of film for various applications. 

Our CPP film machine which was imported from Italy uses European technology to produce high quality CPP film. From Germany, we have our own metalizer machine to convert our plain CPP film to Vacum Metalized CPP film or VMCPP. Another pride in this division is our LLDPE blown film lines. Although some of these machines are quite old but they are still dependable due to their superior European technology.

PRODUCTS

We produced our finished goods in a variety of forms. The most common one is in roll form where our customers use their own bag and filling machine to put their products into the package. Upon request, we can ship these finished goods in the form of bags. Bags such as centre seal, side seal, or bottom seal can be done in our bag making machine. Another type of packaging which is very popular in the market is stand up pouch. We can also provide our customers with the aformentioned type of packaging.
